Bart’s ArtVenture! is the Museum’s new state-of-the-art interactive gallery designed for families and visitors with children who want to explore art at their own pace, guided by their own interests. The two family galleries feature more than 15 hands-on learning stations that encourage exploration, discovery, and creativity. Take an ArtVenture with Bart!

Art Bar activity
Create a collage inspired by the spring colors and cool shapes in Frank Stella's Flin Flon VI. How many different designs can you create using just one shape? Come see for yourself!
Step into Art
A herd of hippos is taking over the Museum! During Hip, Hippo, Hooray!, be sure to visit Bart’s ArtVenture where you can step into a hippo painting, take your photo, and email it home for a cool souvenir of your visit. Greenscreen technology magically allows you to cuddle up to a couple of cute hippos, to swim in the cool blue water with one, and to stand strong with a herd on a hill!
